Since 1995, The Group has been dedicated to supporting independently-owned and operated funeral homes as they grow. Our mission is to provide unparalleled support, cutting-edge innovation, negotiated discounts, educational opportunities, and an industry-wide network for our members. We are committed to empowering funeral homes to thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
Mission
The Independent Funeral Group was founded by the same people it exists to serve-- independent funeral home owners and staff. For 25 years, we have worked to provide innovative solutions, opportunities, and tools to our member firms to support their growth in their communities.
What We DO
The Group offers our member firms exclusive, negotiated deals with industry services and suppliers; educational opportunities through our scholarships, Round Tables, and annual Fall Conferences; voices in state and national associations; a compilation of resources and dedicated contacts within and without the Group itself; and a wide network of fellow firms across the Southeast.
