(Even More) Extra Courses Added For Required Subjects—Plus New Classes Upcoming in August!

In response to requests from our Members and customers, we’re adding two more instances of extra required-subject courses with limited approvals— OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens #1 and Ethical Practices in Funeral Service are being held one more time at the end of July, for those who need either of those credits before renewals. These courses count as in-person credits in Kentucky and Tennessee, and are also approved in several other states, including Alabama and Florida. Check them out for details!
Also, if you've never had to go through the OSHA citation process— and especially if you attended Employer Rights Under OSHA— our next upcoming course delves into a detailed case study, walking you through what to do if you receive a citation, how the process works... and all the ways it can go wrong!
Additionally, we’re excited to announce our next upcoming courses! Based on feedback and questions we’ve received from our previous cremation courses, we’re introducing a two-part series on the hands-on realities of cremation, and adapting to and maintaining different types of crematory furnaces. These courses will be done in live POV-video by the Director of Operations of a high-volume, third-party crematory that runs four units of very different types, ages, and styles. The crematory itself will be pausing its operations to allow us a firsthand look, and the guidance of an operator with well over a decade of experience.
Then, we’ll be offering another new course on the operational flow of that same crematory, and what efficiency and safeguard measures they’ve developed to keep their facility running smoothly at their volume.
