In Memory of Richard Bryant Hightower, Sr.
It is with great sadness that we share with the membership of The Independent Funeral Group the passing of our longtime member and friend, Richard Bryant Hightower, Sr., of Bremen, Georgia.
Richard and the Hightower family have been part of The Independent Funeral Group since its establishment. Through the years, their involvement has represented the very spirit upon which The Group was built.
We will remember his kindness, his friendship and camaraderie, his remarkable knowledge of funeral service, and his willingness to give his time to a profession he deeply loved. We will remember a man who understood that being a funeral director meant being part of a community and accepting the responsibility that comes with families placing their trust in you.
To the entire Hightower family, please know how grateful we are that Richard and your family have been part of The Independent Funeral Group from the beginning. Thank you for sharing him with our profession, with The Group, and with the countless families and communities he served throughout his lifetime.
And to Richard, we simply say thank you.
Thank you for your vision. Thank you for your leadership. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for the example you set for generations of funeral service professionals. And thank you for a lifetime spent serving others.
Funeral service is better because Richard Hightower was part of it, and The Independent Funeral Group is better because he was part of us.
He will be deeply missed, and he will be remembered with tremendous gratitude and affection by all of us at The Independent Funeral Group.
