Convention season is upon us— Brad, our Executive Director, has made it back from the Tennessee Funeral Director's Convention, and we'd like to take a moment to thank TFDA for all they do. The Group started in Tennessee, and we have had strong ties here ever since. We're proud to work with the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association and with the state of Tennessee, and greatly appreciated the opportunity both to rub elbows with old and new friends and to discuss our new program and plans there.

We're very proud to be able to offer webinar-based synchronous learning with our Continuing Education Program that qualifies in Tennessee for in-person credit, and to use a portion of those proceeds to support the state associations that do so much to advocate and aid our industry.

Convention season isn't over yet, though, so if you're further South than Tennessee, keep an eye out for Brad at the Mississippi & Louisiana MFDA/LFDA Joint Convention in Biloxi in two weeks!

If you haven't gotten the chance to see us in your state this season, though, never fear— our own convention will be coming up in three short months, at the beginning of September, and early registration will be opening soon for the event, which has some very exciting new things to offer this year! The Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions Crematory Operator Certification Program will be offered (free for all our Members and their staff!) on the first day of our Conference, and space is limited, so register as soon as you can!
